Here's how math will happen: everyone gets an inventory test, to see where they are and what they need to learn/ know for Math. After that the Math lessons are taught from the textbook. We start with Geometry, as we visit Pythagoras, in Ancient Greece, and look at his right triangles. Students do the group lesson/classwork first. When they finish the group classwork, they are required to do the next thing in their individual math packets, which are based on their inventory tests. There will be a pre-test for each chapter. If a student scores 100% on the pre-test, that student gets to skip that chapter (classwork and homework), but must instead do/hand in the next chapter from their packet (based on their inventory test of what they needed to learn). The inventory test has no ceiling, I keep testing, until I find something new that your child can learn in Math. I love math! Math tests once a month, on the class lessons, with bonus questions from packets. Mathematics homework and will be on the Mathematics page. Math enrichment is on the Extension Activities Page. You'll see links to click on and print out.
